Two trips, one in a 35-foot sailboat and one one an aerobatic plane, unfortunately crossed paths Friday when the low-flying plane clipped the boat's 50 foot mast and crashed on Davis Islands in Tampa. The pilot and passenger of the plane survived and no one on the boat was injured.
