A sunny day, moderate temps and steady winds out of the NW @ 7 knots made for a great day of sailing. The race featured five boats (2 C Larks and 3 Capris) for a two lap race inside the logboom. Everyone had so much fun that a second race was held. Stayed tuned to the club website as the photos and race results will be posted.
Prez Dan, who considered himself to be the pre-race favorite, won first place. His handicap adusted time was only 8 seconds ahead of the second place boat. That’s some great competition!
Thanks to all who participated. I’ll organize another on the water event in July. If you have comments or suggestions please leave a comment to this post.
