Europe fishermen strike over fuel prices

An all-out strike by Spanish fishermen, Europe's largest fleet, went into a second day as protests over rocketing fuel prices continued on land and at sea across Europe.

Sailboat survives after mutiny leaves it adrift

A mutiny off the Kaipara Coast of New Zealand on March 25 has turned out better than expected for the sailboat that was left adrift after its owner and the crew were plucked off the vessel in an airborne rescue. Although crew member Carl Horn said he did not think they would have survived through the night in 25 knot winds and 5 foot seas and the crew decided to set off the rescue beacon, the 26-foot Compass sloop, Air Apparent, was found Tuesday upright and drifting, with mast intact and sail dragging off North Cape.
